Endpoint management and patching
Every laptop, desktop and device patched, configured and compliant, month after month, without a large in-house specialist team. Flex Consulting engineers, automates and runs endpoint management on Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Jamf and Radia.
Why endpoint management matters
Unpatched devices are one of the most common ways attackers get in, and keeping a mixed estate of Windows, macOS and specialist devices current is relentless work: monthly operating system patches, third-party application updates, packaging, configuration and the platform itself. When it depends on one or two specialists, it slips.
We make it routine. Patching and packaging run on a schedule, scripts replace manual admin tasks and log what they did, and privileged-access controls are tested automatically. You get a predictable service, with specialist help when the platform needs it, and reporting that shows your estate is compliant.
What changes
Devices stay current
Operating systems and third-party applications patched every month, with reporting on what is compliant and what is not.
Less manual admin
Scheduled automation replaces routine admin tasks, keeps execution logs and alerts the right team when something needs attention.
Stronger security controls
Identity and privileged-access controls automated and tested regularly, with evidence for your security team and auditors.
Predictable effort and cost
A planned annual service with specialist skills on call, instead of building a large in-house team.
What we look after
Typical endpoint work for New Zealand and Australian organisations:
Patching
Monthly operating system and third-party application patching across desktops, laptops and servers.
Application packaging
Applications packaged, tested and deployed consistently, with PowerShell and platform tooling.
Platform engineering
Windows 11 engineering, Configuration Manager migrations, and Intune and Jamf administration.
Mac and specialist devices
macOS managed through Jamf, and warehouse and specialist devices brought under the same policies.
Identity and privileged access
Automated KRBTGT password rotation and scheduled testing of privileged groups, with alerts to security teams.
Managed service
Remote support for your desktop team, vendor case management, reporting and training.
Platforms
Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager
Cloud and on-premises management of Windows devices: policies, applications, updates, certificates, Wi-Fi and VPN settings.
Jamf
Management, configuration and compliance for Apple devices.
Radia
Patch management and software distribution across large estates, using a Core and Satellite server architecture.

Questions we are asked
What is endpoint management?
Endpoint management is keeping an organisation's laptops, desktops, mobile and specialist devices secure, up to date and correctly configured, usually with platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager or Jamf.
How often should devices be patched?
At least monthly for operating systems and common third-party applications, with critical security updates applied faster. A regular schedule with reporting is what keeps the estate compliant.
Can you support the platform we already have?
Yes. We work with Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Jamf and Radia, and can support your existing platform or help you migrate to a new one.
