What Protegrity does
Protegrity protects the data itself rather than the systems around it. Sensitive fields such as names, account numbers, IRD numbers and health details are replaced with protected values using vaultless tokenisation, format-preserving encryption or masking. The protected data keeps its format, so applications, analytics and AI can still use it, and the real values are revealed only to the people and processes you authorise.

What is Protegrity?
Protegrity is an AI security and data protection company. Its platform discovers sensitive data and protects it at the field level with tokenisation, encryption and masking across cloud, on-premises and mainframe systems, and adds guardrails for AI models and agents.
What is vaultless tokenisation?
Tokenisation replaces a sensitive value with a substitute token. Vaultless tokenisation generates tokens without storing every original value in a central lookup database, which avoids a single store of sensitive data and scales to large volumes.
Should we use Protegrity or OpenText Voltage?
Both protect data at the field level. The right choice depends on your platforms, existing investments and AI plans. We work with both and will recommend the one that fits.
